So, recently i found a super shitty bike that had bent rim and spokes. Decided to fix it up for a project. Found an old weed whacker and took out the motor, attached the motor to a few L bars and put it on the bike with machine screws. Then attached a bike peg to the fly wheel of the motor and attempted to use a spring to pull tension from the peg to the tire of the bike. Only problem is I can't find a reliable place to attach the spring to the motor and i tried just screwing the peg onto the flywheel, but when the motor turns it spins it off! Tried apoxy and everything but i can't get the damn thing to stay on! any help would be greatly appreciated (don't have pictures, out of town atm sorry) via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2srH1BG
